The Journey

I have always had a dream that I would be an entrepreneur. From my earliest childhood I remember watching my dad and my grandfathers working so hard, struggling to make ends meet each month, and I decided that I did not want to live that way. But dreams and reality don't always mesh easily, so I went to school, attained my degree and found myself reporting to my cubicle each morning and working until late in the afternoon each day for the better part of a decade.

When I finally became entirely fed up with corporate life I severed my ties and "struck" out on my own, joining a top Life Insurance Company. I felt that if I could establish a client base for insurance and financial services I could have more control over my own time and destiny. Unfortunately, what I didn't realize was that I had jumped from the frying pan into the fire; I had just transferred from one corporate beuracracy to another. And while I got excellent sales training at my new firm, I was once again jailed in a cubicle, only now I didn't have a regular paycheck.

Hutning Over the next several years I bounced from one company to another, and started a business as a Private Fiduciary as a side income. In every one of these situations I found myself stretched beyond my physical capacity, squeezed under the corporate and state government red tape, and falling further behind each month. I knew there had to be a better way.

Then late one night I stumbled across the CCPRO website again. I had seen it before, but something jumped out at me this time. I spent a little time and researched some of the web pages of the members. I discovered what seemed to be a very viable business model, and one that I did not have to recreate. I could simply "plug and play" by inserting my personal information into the templates and web pages they had designed. I also discovered that they had a very comprehensive training program, including hundreds of videos, live training and documents. and I was very impressed with how young most of the people were who were making 2, 3, even 10 or 20 times more than I was.

(In some ways I was even intimidated by the youth ... could this old dog learn the new tricks of the internet marketing scene?)

I knew that if I didn't do something soon our ship was going to sink in very deep water! So I took the plunge into the CCPRO community .... and let me tell you that was by far the best decision I have made in a very long time. Immediately I was surrounded by people and resources all geared toward teaching me how to become successful as an internet marketer. I had opportunity to plug into training and webinars almost 'round the clock. I quickly came up to speed and had my pages up and running, and leads flooding in in very little time.

My Partners Along the Way

Finn Family I have had numerous business partners along this journey, but only three have stuck with me through the thick and thin, in the difficult times as well as the good, and to these three I dedicate and owe my life. They are my wife, Angie, and my two boys. I thank God for them every day, and they will continue to be my motivation for the years to come.

What is it that motivates you? I really don't think it matters much where you are or what you are doing, you can find success in many things and in many ways, but almost never if there is not something motivating you toward that success. Sometimes, finding this motivation is what thrusts us into the next level in our lives.
